Growing up as an East-Indian woman, I witnessed the impact of cultural expectations and societal pressures on mental health. This personal understanding fuels my passion for supporting BIPOC communities and people of color through their mental health journeys. My practice is deeply rooted in a culturally sensitive approach, with a focus on navigating the complexities ofADHD/ADD, relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I specialize in creating a non-judgmental, safe space where clients can explore their experiences and feelings. My approach is trauma-informed, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them manage their inner critical voices and emotional well-being. Whether addressing the challenges of navigating relationships or the intricacies of living with ADHD, I aim to empower individuals by providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive. With a strong emphasis on inclusivity and understanding, I am committed to helping clients from all walks of life, particularly those from marginalized communities, to heal and grow. My approach is not just about treating symptoms but fostering resilience and self-compassion, enabling my clients to live more fulfilling lives.
Having worked extensively with diverse populations, I understand the importance of recognizing and respecting everyone’s unique cultural background. I integrate this understanding into my therapeutic approach, ensuring my clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My work is not only about addressing immediate concerns but also about helping clients build long-term strategies for resilience and self-compassion. In addition to individual therapy, I am passionate about raising awareness and advocating for mental health within BIPOC communities. I believe in the power of education and community outreach to break down the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Through workshops, talks, and group sessions, I strive to create a supportive network where individuals can connect, share their experiences, and find strength in their collective journey toward healing.
